During one of our trips to Genting Highlands, we booked a half‑day sightseeing tour that included several charming attractions located mid‑way up the hill:

1. Orchid Farm – a colorful showcase of exotic blooms

2. Happy Bee Farm & Insect World – a fun and educational stop for nature lovers

3. Strawberry Leisure Farm – a delightful spot to pick fresh strawberries

1)  The Orchid Farm

2) Happy Bee Farm & Insect World

There is an entrance fee for the Bee Farm, Insect World, and Butterfly Wonderland, offering visitors an educational and delightful experience filled with fascinating insights into bees, insects, and butterflies. But I wasn’t particularly interested in exploring the exhibits and felt reluctant to pay an entrance fee. As a result, we only captured a few photos outside the park.

[Flashback] Year 2026 POV: If I were to visit Genting Highlands again, I might consider exploring this place once more. After nearly 10 years, it has likely improved for a better viewing experience—and now we also have much better phone cameras to capture the memories. Based on my recent research, the current entrance fee is around RM35. (Well, the ringgit has weakened quite a bit over the years…)

3)   Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm

This was the place where we spent most of our day, and of course, we couldn’t get enough of taking photos. The sprawling compound features a vibrant lavender garden, a flourishing flower nursery, a lively shopping alley, and charming mini gardens lined with rose bushes. The highlight, however, was the joy of strawberry plucking.

[Flashback] Year 2026 POV]: Unfortunately, the Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm closed down in 2024. I’m still glad that I had the chance to visit at least once and capture tons of photos to remember the experience.
