This stall situated in a coffeeshop simply selling 猪肠粉. It comes in only 3 favors: 鮮蝦，叉燒 as well as 'kosong' (means plain). This 猪肠粉 has high standard that we would only find it in high-end Dim Sum Restaurant in Singapore. They are generous in the sauce that filled the 猪肠粉.

Crepe Signature

Have been to the JB LEGOLAND with Nathaniel last Saturday and stumbled upon this small snack bar - Crepe Signature. So we decided to have a short bite here.

Look at the menu, there are various choice to choose from. Range from sweet, savoury to ice cream fillings.

After pondering at the counter for a while, We finally decided to order the following:-

锦成茶楼 (Restoran Gim Cheng)

Last Sunday, have been to this 锦成茶楼 (Restoran Gim Cheng) situated at 2 Jalan Sagu 36, TamanDaya （位于新山福林园） for breakfast. It offering a wide range of fresh traditional 点心 （炸点 / 蒸点）。On tray service is fast compare to many others Dim Sum Restaurant.

难得茶楼会有这么一道龙须卷，内头夹杂着芒果，而且外观特别吸引人（點影相都好吸引），口感也特别爽脆。值得一试！

This is 叉燒包 - Don't expect more from this

Many have said if U want to know whether a Dim Sum Restruant is serving nice dim sum, one must try two Not-to-be-Miss items to determine this fact; that is 燒賣 and 蝦饺.Thus, in my opinion, is just not worth to make a special trip here for these two items. Of course overall is still worth a visit.

This is a dim sum resemble 高麗豆沙 but the filling is not 豆沙. Niiiice!








This is sweet and sour something (don't remember what inside) but口感唔錯, do try it out!




On my last visit, the most sort-for item - Egg Tart has been sold out. As well as the 猪肠粉 where I desperately want to try. I will surely pay another visit for these two items.

Overall, if U guys have been to “大四喜点心茶楼", I should said this restaurant is just moderate.

吉面家 (Wanton Noodle House)

On 28 Apr 2012, we went to Bukit Indah area ( Jalan Indah 5/9) - Morning Street Market for market shopping as well as breakfast in 吉面家.

The noodle was just fine but the wanton was nice. As a comparison, I still prefer the famous 笨珍云吞面 especially the fried wanton. (Note: here I'm refer to the stalls in JB and not those affiliate stalls now has came to Singapore)

This meal cost RM14.10 (2 bowls and 2 drinks)

Horray! Today is Nathaniel’s Birthday. We are making a trip into JB to celebrate despite we are very busy with the house moving packing.

We set off in morning and arrived Woodlands Checkpoint at 8.30 am – it was a smooth drive from Singapore custom to JB custom and we cleared the custom by 8.45am.

Toast Bread Cafe (Austin)

We have drive all the way to Austin. Initially, we wanted to have our breakfast in this popular eating place. They served nice various toast bread and signature dish is goeng beeboon. It Is very delicious. Unfortunately, it was too crowded and we decided to give it a miss. 

Moonlight Cake House (Austin)

So we went to the next door coffee and cakehouse (Moonlight Cake House) for breakfast.

Thereafter, we went to the supermarket for groceries. However, not forgotten about the purpose of coming in to JB; is to celebrate Nat’s Birthday with a BD lunch, buy a BD gift as well as get a BD cake. So, wonder where could we get them?? No problem, we gotten all 3 things just in 1 mall – that is……. Pelangi Plaza!

Now, the returned journey – it was a smooth drive via 1st link at both JB and SG customs and we home sweet home at about 3 pm.

Wishing Nathaniel’s a blessed birthday and many happy returns.

P.S. – Have to try to avoid entering to JB on Saturday afternoon (1st link) as it is very jam even b4 the woodlands checkpoint.

友谊包茶点茶樓 (皇后花园, 315 楼(Lor) " 大水沟边" )

We have our breakfast at this 友谊包茶点茶樓 as early as 7 am. 

Look at the food we ordered. The food is above average and the need to mentioned, the Yam Ball tasted delicious. For a mere RM32, we also打包 some food back home (includes more Yam Ball, big and small Bao)
