Day 1 (25 Oct 15, Sunday)
Luggage packed. Ready to gooooooo!
Shall depart from Singapore Changi Airport - Terminal 2. Want to know the flight details? This picture tells it all! :)
Through it is a comany's overseas retreat and all employees are given preference timing and flight to fly to Bali individually but I'm still behave like a small girl (without my husband accompany, I feel very uneasy to travel alone). Hence, II'll always find company to go together. This year I have this beautiful lady - Vanessa to accompany me. Thanks Van!
We have done our early check-in at the automated check-in kisok with the assistance of the SQ's staff. Just hoping the next trip, I could do it "all by myself" as it's really look "very aunty" to have the staff assisting to do it for you. Wonder what is self check-in means while there are assistance standing all around to guide / or so called do it for you.
Here is a guide on how to self check-in at the automated check-in kisok.
Next, check-in our luggage bag. Oop! the picture was not well taken but I think the weight is 12.5 kg. Could any readers see other numbering? Do advise me. I always need to know what is my baggage's weight so that I could estimate how much shopping buy that I could stuff in the bag for returning without additional overweight charge.
Once entered the Departure Hall, shopping spree begain even through I'm sure I will not be departing my S$ in this place.
Nice art sculptures for photo-taking
Having light breakfast at Wang Cafe "again". Notice why I used the word "again"? Yes! if you guys have follow reading my travel blog pages, you will notice that last year while I'm waiting to depart for my trip to Cambodia, I'm also in this place having breakfast. Perhaps this food cafe is considered the most economical that could be found in T2 and offers very light meal.
Guess what, I have ordered the same breakfast set as last year - Traditional kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs and kopi-o.
"Wow! wow! SQ Aeroplane! Here I come!"
Before we proceed to the Broading Gate, Vanessa have a last minutes need to get souvenirs for our overseas fellow colleagues from different part of the countries that shall be meeting up in Bali. Mentioned about SG souvenirs, what else is better than this 'Peranakan Tiles' range of collections to allow everyone to own a piece of Singapore Heritage.
Hmm.... I'm attracted by this nice Peranakan Tiles Mug but also dispelled away by the pricing.
Nevertheless, we could always check out online sales for this mug:
OK, we need to rush to our boarding gate after Vanessa has made her purchase.
Fry to Bali, xxxxxx with Singapore Airline
